Yureck DelMarco Torres

Yureck DelMarco Torres, 51, of Sylva tragically lost his life in an accident on July 27, 2024.

Yureck had a wonderful sense of humor; he thought of himself as a jokester. He took pride in his work as a grounds keeper at Sequoyah National Golf Club. In his free time, Yureck could often be found on the greens playing golf or playing one of his various video games, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Left to cherish Yureck’s memory are his wife Tracy Torres, daughters Bryanna Dees, Destiny Martinez and Dealenna Torres, sons Zackary Torres, Kyle Whitehead and Austin Whitehead and brother Joey Torres. Yureck also leaves behind special friends Robert McConn (Tuesday) and Shawn McConn.

A Funeral Service for Yureck will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, August 4, 2024, in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services; a Visitation will be held one hour prior. A Graveside Service will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens of Sylva.
