Wilma Broom Hooper

Wilma Broom Hooper, 83 of Glenville, passed away Wednesday, July 01, 2015. She is the daughter of the late Ira and Eva Broom. She was preceded in death by her husband Radford Hooper who passed away in 1999. She loved to quilt, garden, can vegetables and crafts. She is survived by three daughters Barbara Jenkins (Henry), Shelia Hooper, Bonnie Hooper Messer; one son Randy Hooper (Debbie); one sister Alzia Johnson. Three granddaughters, Jennifer Caywood, Brandy Hooper and Eva Marie Messer. Three great grandchildren Trent and Evan Caywood and Sawyer Miles Hooper. Also several nieces and nephews survive. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Service with the Rev. Ernie Jamison and Rev. Scotty Patrick officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 pm two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Big Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
