Brevard, North Carolina – William Thomas (Bill) Hutchinson, 83 died Sunday, March 4th 2018 in Tampa Florida. He was born on May 31st, 1934 in Webster, NC to Maude Mitchell and Samuel B. Huchinson. He graduated from N. Davidson High School, attended Western Carolina University, and was a Korean War Veteran. He retired from Ecusta and was a Christmas tree farmer in the Glenville community. He was a Mason, active in the Jaycees, enjoyed round dancing, snow skiing, fishing, golfing, gardening, camping, coins and antiques. He was a member of the NC Frasier Fir Growers Association, the Blue Ridge Pioneer Motorcoach Club, and the Glenville Historical Society. He gave 100% to everything he did and enjoyed hard work, keeping things clean, good conversation, and his many friends throughout the US. He was preceded in death by his parents Maude Mitchell and Samuel Hutchison and his wife Shelly Passmore. He is survived and loved by his special companion of 17 years Marion Monroe whom he loved dearly, daughters Kelly (Dwayne) Beeson and Teresa (Remy) Doda, and grandchildren Khris Beeson and Clark Doda. A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Sylva, NC on Saturday March 10, at 11:00 am. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Roger & Peg Bealm and Ed and Lee Monroe for their dedicated support over many months. Bill was truly surrounded by a host of angels.
