Tommy Clifford Watson

Thomas (Tommy) Watson, age 71, of Sylva, died Monday, November 5, 2012. Thomas was born June 23, 1941 in Jackson County. He is the son of the late Newton and the late Mildred (Hoyle) Watson. He was employed in housekeeper at Western Carolina University. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and loved the outdoors. He is survived by two brothers, Bobby Watson of Cullowhee and Michael Watson of Sylva; a brother-in-law, Robbie Arneach of Cullowhee; and two sisters, Inez Dills and Judy Henry, both of Cullowhee. A graveside service will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Sylva with the Reverend David Zachary and Rev. Jim Ed Powell officiating. Pall bears are Jimmy Clabo, Troy and Levi Ammons, Nick and Brian Henry and Jody Bell. Honorary are Jake Henry, Jessie Ammons and Lane Hooper. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731. . .
