Thadious Wayne Hooper, age 86, of Cullowhee died Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Blue Ridge On The Mountain of Sylva , NC. Mr. Hooper was born August 21, 1929 in Speedwell, NC. He is the son of the late William Clinton and the late Maude Dana (Bumgarner) Hooper. A complete obituary will be uploaded when available. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm on Friday, February 12 at Appalachian Funeral Services, 165 Skyland Drive, Sylva, NC with Rev. Verlin Bryson And Dana Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Hooper Cemetery, Cullowhee. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 13 from noon until 2:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services. .
