Sue Wild

Sue Wild, age 89, of Sylva passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014. Sue was born January 23, 1925 in Jackson County to the late Walter and Nina (Jacobs) Ashe. She moved to Florida after getting married but moved back to Jackson County after her husband passed away and remained here for many years. In addition to her parents, Sue is preceded in death by one brother, Morrison Ashe and two sisters; Doris Cornwell and Lois Ashe. She is survived by her daughter, Pat Parker and two grandchildren; Anita Parker of Nevada and Alden Parker of North Carolina. Five great grandchildren also survive. A graveside service will be Friday, December 19, 2014 at 1:30 pm at Parris Cemetery with Dr. Jim Dean officiating. Family will receive friends prior to the service, from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services.
