Scotty Dean McMahan

Scotty McMahan, 44, of Sylva, went home to be with the Lord Friday morning August 12, 2022.
A native and a lifelong resident of Jackson County, Scotty was an avid artist who loved to draw. He cherished the time he had to spend with his family and friends. He will be missed by all that knew him. 
He is survived by his parents; Jerry and Linda McMahan
and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends also survive. 
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday August 16, 2022 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home.
