Ronald Paul Nelson

Ronald Paul Nelson age 76 of Cashiers, NC passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Highlands- Cashiers Hospital. He is the son of the late Paul and Catherine Nelson. He is preceded in death by his wife Kathryn Parker Nelson who passed away in 2009. Ronald loved the ocean and it was like a second home to him. He also enjoyed spending time with his family which he loved dearly. He is survived by two daughters Kathleen Cone and her husband Glenn and Shelly Eastman. Three granddaughters Catherine Elizabeth Eastman, Jordan Michelle Eastman and Whitni Marie Eastman; one great granddaughter Dallas Elaine East; one brother Richard Nelson and one sister Betty Callahan Nelson. A private service will be held at a later date. Appalachian Funeral Services are in charge of arrangements.
