Roger Queen

Roger Queen, age 54, of Cullowhee, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 27, 2022. He was the son of Mack Queen and the late Mackie Queen. 

He was self-employed in the construction industry. Roger loved to hunt, especially bear hunting. He dearly loved his family. 

Roger is survived by one daughter, Jessica Queen; one son, William (Kaela) Queen; three grandchildren, Brooklyn Queen, Maverick Queen, and Bronx Queen; his long-time partner, Kathy Webster; four brothers, Michael (Joyce) Queen, Terry (Linda) Queen, Kenny (Pat) Queen, and Ronnie Queen; one sister, Barbara (Eddie) McCoy and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services chapel with Rev. Tonya Vickery officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuckasegee Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 31, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Appalachian Funeral Services to help offset the funeral expenses.
