Robley "Les" Odom, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 28, 2016. Les was born on August 21st, 2016 in Darlington, SC, to the late Laurin and Marie (Johnson) Odom. He was a CPO of 25 years in the U.S. Navy Air Traffic Control and coached POP Warner football for many years.
He was also a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Teen Challenge of the Smokies, an avid golfer at Lake Junaluska, and a member of the color guard for the Jackson County American Legion.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by: one sister, Clara Odom Hines, and two brothers, Ralph Odom, and Russell Odom.
He is survived by his spouse, Ina Claire "Sam" Bryant of Dillsboro, NC; one son, Craig Odom of Columbia, SC; step-daughters Wanda Paxton of Charleston, SC, Wendy LeMay, and Wynette Wiles of Cullowhee, NC; one sister, Sandra Pogue of Hartwell, GA; and one brother Wayne Odom of Columbia, SC. Multiple nieces and nephews also survive.
