Rebecca Sandel

Rebecca Sandel, 73, of Franklin, NC (formerly of Tampa), passed peacefully on October 30, 2019 with her husband at her side. She was born in Greenville, AL on July 28, 1946. She moved to Tampa where she attended Brewster High School and graduated with the class of 1964. She worked as a teacher’s aide for 27 years at Dickenson Elementary School, enjoyed sewing, traveling and most of all, spending time with her family.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby K. Kruppner; stepfather, Charles E. Kruppner; father, George H. Coleman, II; and brother, George H. Coleman, III.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, Ronald Sandel; beloved pet, Daisy; son, Gary Sandel and his wife Laura; daughter, Tracey Sultan and her husband David; granddaughters, Melissa Sandel, Samantha Sandel, and Brittney Lafuente; grandsons, Andrew Roth & Dustin Sultan; and great-granddaughters Ashlyn & Adelyn Roth. The family will be holding a private interment at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens. There will also be an intimate gathering for the immediate family & friends in Tampa, FL.
