Randy Eugene Broom

Randy Eugene Broom, 51, of Tuckasegee, passed away Wednesday evening November 27, 2013. Born December 11, 1961 in Transylvania County, Randy was the son of the late Don and Bessie Brown Broom. He loved hunting, fishing and playing his guitar. He really enjoyed watching Nascar and playing his video games and just loved his cats. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Gail Gibson Broom 1 Son- Jeremy Broom of the home 1 Brother- Stanley Broom of Tuckasegee 2 Sisters- Rita Prince of Tuckasegee and Pam Wilson of Sylva Several nieces and nephews and one special nephew Jason Prince also survive Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Sunday December 1 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Revs. Johnny Norris and David Reeves officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 non until 2:00 pm prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Upper Sols Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Appalachian Funeral Services to help with funeral expenses. .
