Rachel Kinkaid Cagle

Rachel Kinkaid Cagle went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday December 8, 2021. She was born on March 14, 1929 to the late Nason Kinkaid and Mary McCampbell Kinkaid.

Rachel enjoyed reading her bible and loved her family and friends. She held a Bible Study at Skyland Care Center and was a member of Scotts Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Cagle; brothers, Robert E, Kinkaid, and Alvin N. Kinkaid, Sr., and her niece, Kathy Rae Walsh.

Rachel is survived by her sister-in-law, Virginia Kinkaid; niece, Julie Kinkaid Maciel; nephews, Alvin Kinkaid, Jr., and Robert Kinkaid. Several great nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday December 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. J.D. Grant officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Old Field Cemetery.
