Philip Harvey Behm

Philip Harvey Behm, 65, of Sylva, passed away Tuesday morning March 21, 2023

A native of Marietta, Ohio, Phil was the son of the late Russell and Jean Marie Behm.

Phil worked at Perfection Gear in Asheville for 40 years as a design engineer. He always said to the kids, if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. He loved his job and all the people with which he worked. 

He was a loving husband, father and Papa and just an all around good guy. He was a steady, solid man of faith, who never gave up no matter what he faced.

His life motto was, “This too shall pass.”

He is survived by his wife; Kelly Ann

                 Zachary (Emily) Behm
Grandchildren; Jessica, Kaylynn, Sarah, Michael, Rooney, Margo and expecting another grandson next month

He will be missed by so many.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Monday March 27, 2023 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Sylva with a reception for the family to follow the Service.
