Pauline Ann Davis, 73, of Whittier, went home to be with her Lord Sunday February 9, 2014.
A native of Miami, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Charles William and Ethel Parker Foster. She loved working with children and was a teacher’s assistant until her retirement in Jacksonville, Florida where she resided for 35 years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, traveling and hiking and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church in Franklin. She was a member of the local Bible study at Sylva Presbyterian Church. She touched the lives of so many people over the years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother Edward Parker Foster and by her granddaughter Alexia Davis.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years Mann Greg Davis III
1 Daughter- Tammy Cooper and her husband Robert of Columbia, SC
1 Son- Timothy Davis and his wife Jacquelyn of Jacksonville, Fla
5 Grandchildren- Jared, Kara, Jack and Rose Cooper, Stuart Davis
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday February 14 at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Franklin with Dr. Charles Harris and Rev. Brandon Breedlove officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 PM Thursday evening at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery.
