Paul Eudean Hoxit

Paul Eudean Hoxit, 74 of Sylva passed away peacefully with family by his side on May 19, 2018 at Harris Regional Hospital.  Paul served in the Vietnam war and was a construction worker/truck driver by trade.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Hoxit, his father, Jule and mother, Edna Lula Hoxit and two brothers, Randal Hoxit and Arnold Hoxit.  Paul leaves behind three children, Loretta Womack (Jeff), James Hoxit (Elsie) and Pauletta Clark (Gregg), one brother, Donnie Hoxit of Sylva, Grandchildren, Sara Cabe (Brandon), Sam Plaster (Mica), Evangeline Womack, Cody Hoxit, Jake Hoxit, Aaron Brooks (Michaela), Erika Brooks, Shade Clark, Jonathan Williamson, Diamond Burch, Mandy Nashif, and Boone Williamson, 9 great grandchildren, and much-loved nieces and nephews.  Paul’s laughter and great big smile will be missed by all those that loved him.   A celebration of life will be held on June 9, 2018 starting at 1:00 pm for Paul and his wife, Evelyn who passed away just 6 days before him.   The celebration will be held at the home of their son, James Hoxit.
