Norma Jean Dudley Kell O'Brien, 91, of Whittier and Clearwater, Florida, passed away Saturday morning, October 1, 2016. Born in Swifton, Arkansas June 23, 1925, she was a member of the Pinellas County Pioneer Association in Florida, as well as a 50+ year member of the First United Methodist Church of Clearwater, Fl.. She worked for a brokerage firm for over 30 years and advanced from a board girl to secretary to the manager. She enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, one brother and her husbands; Franklin Hatcher Kell and Joseph Timothy O'Brien.
She is survived by her daughter- Marilyn Kell Roach and her husband Bob of Whittier, NC
3 Granddaughters- Deborah Jean Roach of Branson, Missouri, Laura Anne Roach of St. Petersburg, Fla. And Stacie Lynn Dudley of Cashiers, NC
4 Great Grandchildren- Kevin Michael Littler of Whittier, NC, Robert Christopher Dudley of Whittier, NC, Lane Randall Tingen of Cashiers, NC and Caitlin Ann Tingen of Cashiers, NC.
Funeral Services will be held 3:00pm Tuesday October 4 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Jim Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends following the Service at the Holly Cove RV Resort in Whittier. Burial will be in Swifton, Arkanasas
