Myrtha Reagan Wilson, 80, of Sylva, Passed Sunday morning at her home February 19, 2017. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Haynes V. and Bessie Martin Reagan. A member of Sylva First United Methodist Church, she was a graduate of Western Carolina University and taught at schools in both Jackson and Swain County School Systems. She loved staying busy with her flowers, her cats and dogs but especially with her grandchildren. She was also very active with local charities. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Richard Wilson 2 Sons- Eric Wilson and his wife Wendy of Loganville, GA Haynes Christopher Wilson of Cullowhee 3 Grandchildren- Mary Reagan Wilson, Samuel Christopher Wilson, Elizabeth Ann Wilson 1 Sister- Bette Jeanne Reagan of Sylva Several nieces and nephews also survive Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday February 21, 2017 at Sylva First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mike Shufford officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services. Burial will be in Keener Cemetery.
