M.G. Bell

Myron "M.G." Bell, age 97, of Whittier, NC, went to Heaven on Monday, December 6, 2021 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Tsui Lin Bell and the son of the late Clyde and Etta Bell.

He was the President of Cherokee Sales Company Inc. for fifty plus years and was the organist at Cherokee Baptist Church for many years. His customers were dear to his heart and he also dearly loved his church family. His immediate family was his first love and his highest priority. He was a veteran of World War II.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his first wife; June Bell, one son; Eugene Bell, one grandson; Wayne Shuler, one brother; Harold Bell, and one sister; Dorothy Crisp.

M.G. is survived by his wife of 15 years; Tsui Lin Bell, four children; Carol (Bill) Smith, Deena (Jude) Long, David (Janice) Bell, and Patricia (Jeffrey) Jordan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one brother; Wayne (Mary) Bell.

A memorial service will be held at the Cherokee Baptist Church on Thursday, December 9, 2021at 2:00 pm with Rev. Rick Eddies officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be given In M.G.'s name to the Cherokee Baptist Church, 812 Tsalagi Rd. Cherokee, NC 28719.
