Mary Sue Sellers Galloway passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday November 27, 2017 at Morning Star Assisted Living Center. Daughter of the late Fred V. and Lula Mae Ensley Parris and the wife of the late Albert Sellers. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to watch ice hockey and also enjoyed attending gospel singings. She is survived by her husband Junior Galloway; one son Eddie Sellers (Catherine) of Mills River, NC; two daughters Wanda Sellers of Maryville, TN and Delaine Crowe (Tim) of Sylva. One brother John Manuel (Buddy) Parris. Two sisters Emma Lou and Ollie. One step son David Galloway and Step Daughters Patsy Chandler (Johnny) and Veta Wesley (Steve). Six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 2:00pm at New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Earl Holden, Rev. Mike Moore and Rev. Ernie Jamison officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at the church. Burial will follow the service at Fairview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association of WNC, 31 College Pl d307, Asheville, NC 28801 or to New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
