Marjorie Claudine Fox Mace

Marjorie Claudine Mace, 77, of Sylva, North Carolina, was promoted to Heaven on July 15, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Claude Fox; and was also reunited in Heaven with her husband Larry Mace, Sr., and son Mickey Mace.

Marjorie was a member of the East Sylva Baptist Church. She enjoyed crochet, canning, gardening, and spending time with her loved ones. She made lap throws for United Christian Ministries for Elderly.

Left to cherish Marjorie's memory are sons Eddie (Pamela) and Larry Mace, Jr. (Christie), daughter Claudia Sue Mace, her mother, Della Mae (Bumgarner) Fox, brother Kenneth Ray Fox, sister Wanda Sue Clayton (Joe), seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Appalachian Funeral Services of Sylva. A funeral service will be Monday July 22, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of East Sylva Baptist Church with Dr. Scott Courtney officiating. A graveside service will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens of Sylva, NC.
