Marion “Antonette” Milano, 83, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017. She was born in Flushing, NY on August 12, 1933 to the late Carmine and Elizabeth (Wilson) Milano. She left New York at an early age in the 1960’s and moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL where she began working at Bell Telephone System. She retired in the 1970’s and moved to Bryson City then later to Cullowhee. For many years she was the cashier and an intricate part of Dodie’s Auction.
She is survived by one brother, Peter Milano and wife Roseanne; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Don and Judi and also Linda and Terry; two loving cats Ginger and Button.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Chuck “Charles” and George Milano.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Catman2 Shelter, 637 Bo Cove Rd. Cullowhee, NC 28723.
A private family service will be held in New York.
Appalachian Funeral Services are in charge of arrangements.
