Margie Tolley Lacy

Margie Tolley Lacy, of Sylva, NC passed away Monday, January 2nd, 2023. She was 77 years old.

Margie was fun, loving, and fierce. She was an avid reader, sports fan, fisherman, gardener, and she loved to dance! She spent many years as a
health care worker here in Jackson County, but her family was her life's work.
She enjoyed attending horse shows with her daughter, Charmin and fishing with her son, Jimmy. She loved visiting the lake and shopping sprees with her sister. Dining, dancing, and playing the penny machines with her friends was
her idea of fun! Margie attended every sporting event possiblethat her  children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephew played in.  If you have been to a Sylva-Webster or Smoky Mountain sporting event, there is no doubt you heard her ringing a cow bell and cheering them on.  

She will be best remembered by the love she showed others. Margie was preceded  in death by her daughter, Charmin Lacy Hall. She is survived by
Jim Lacy,  her best friend and father of her two children. Jimmy Lacy (son) Amanda Lacy (Daughter in law) Sister, Gypsy Parker. Nieces:Natasha and Lucee
Wilson. Nephew: Parker Ray Wilson Grandchildren: James Lacy, John Lacy, Jay
Lacy, Amelia Holler and Garrett Coleman. Great grandchildren Joseph and Claira Holler. She was also eagerly awaiting the birth  of John and Denise
Lacy's daughter this year.
