Mack Hensley

Mack Hensley, 83, of Sylva, passed away Saturday January 24, 2015. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late LJ and Lona Sitton Hensley. He enjoyed Nascar and Richard Petty. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Randall, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by his daughter Sandra Grandson- Michael 2 Sisters- Dessie Wright of Hickory and Lucille Mathis of Sylva Several nieces and nephews also survive Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday January 28 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Mark Biddix officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00pm prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Balsam Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Appalachian Funeral Services to help cover the cost of the Funeral. .
