Lucy A. Lane (affectionately known to her family as Grandbam), age 93, went home on September 12, 2023.
Lucy was born in Raton, N.M. on June 1, 1930 to Abolito and Frances (Lucero) Salazar. She was the last remaining sibling of 7.
Lucy married Nick Saiz, Sr. In 1949 and they had 3 children, Nick Jr., Linda, and Denise.
Lucy lived in Colorado most of her life until moving to Tuckasegee in 1989.
Lucy remarried in 1972 to Edwin Lane. They loved to travel and enjoyed life to the fullest until Edwin's death in 1998.
Grandbam had a great sense of humor and she loved flowers and music. Her grandson, Jordi, made sure she always had plenty of both.
She is survived by Nick (Susan), Linda (Steve), Denise (Mark), Jennifer (Rob), Jordi, Crystal, 6 more grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 grandoggers, Peedy and Bonnie.
