Locke Henry Bishop

Locke H Bishop Jr, (LH), 71 of Cullowhee left us to be with Jesus in the early morning hours of March 14th 2017. He was a avid fisherman, word smith, outdoorsman, hardworking father, husband, brother, son, and uncle. Daddy was a Vietnam veteran where he served his country with utmost pride and honor. He had written in his bible, "if you know it's right, jump in with both feet". That's exactly what he did when he got his forever glimpse of the King of Kings. Preceded in death by his father, Locke Bishop Sr, mother Hazel Irene Hall, and dear sister Dorothy Galloway. Surviving are his two children, son Alan (Samantha) Bishop, daughter Sara (Tater) Morgan. Four precious grandkids Elijah, Hannah, Kyle, and Hazeleigh. His wife of 23 years and mother of his children, Johnnie Nell Bishop, and a sweet baby sister, Deanna (Don) Sales and multiple nieces and nephews and a honorary sister Sue Cope (Doug) Hall and many friends. A worship service will be held in his honor at Black Mtn Baptist Church, Saturday March 25th at 2:00pm.
