Lizzie Fay Cabe

Lizzie Fay Cabe, 95, of Sylva, passed away Sunday December 6, 2015. Lizzie was born September 16, 1920 in Macon County, NC to the late David and Allie Guffie. She enjoyed gardening and canning. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Cordell Cabe and by 4 brothers and 3 sisters. She is survived by 1 son- Dover Cabe and his wife Judy of Sylva 1 Grandson- Jeff Cabe and his wife Khris of Sylva 8 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great grandson 1 Sister- Margie Bradshaw of Gastonia also survives Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday December 9 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating. Burial will follow in Old Savannah Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday Evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home. .
