Linda is survived by her older brother, Duane (Daphne) of Daytona Beach, FL, and an older sister, Sandra Childers (Ray) of Cullowhee, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Welch and Elsee Holland; an older sister, Karen Payne, and her younger brothers, Max and Ed Welch.

Linda’s face always had a big smile on it. She loved to laugh with her friends.  We all worked together in a sewing plant.  She had a very nice singing voice.  In her spare time, you could find her singing back-up for her sisters. We all loved country music!! Brother Duane playing his guitar for us was great.

Linda enjoyed most of all spending time with our Mother.  They would get all dressed up every Saturday and go shopping.  They would buy a lot of groceries and a new outfit for Mama.  They would make a day of it. 

Linda will be missed by all who knew her!
