Linda Lou James, 75, of the Green's Creek Community went home to be with the Lord on Friday April 2, 2021
Born June 13, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Daisy Deitz James. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by an infant sister Joyce Mae and a brother John Kenneth James.
She is survived by two sisters; Sarah Barnes of Burnsville, NC and Frances (Lyle) Conner of Candler, NC.
She is also survived by three nieces and two nephews whom she loved dearly. Elaine (Jim) Wilson, Lori (James) Aldridge, Lyla Conner, Jason (Liz) Conner and Aaron (Nicole) Conner
There are four great nieces and four great nephews, three great great nephews and one great great niece that also survive
Linda was a seamstress at the sewing plants in Sylva and after retirement she worked in a group home for adults. She attended Old Savannah Baptist Church until the pandemic kept her inside.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday April 12, 2021 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Austin Frady officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in East Fork Cemetery.
