Lillie Carver Parris

Lillie Carver Parris, 73, of Cherokee, passed away on, Tuesday, June 29, 2021.

Mrs. Parris was born on July 15, 1947 in Macon County to Ethel Passmore Carver and the late James Carver. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, one sister Bessie Cooper, and an infant brother.

In addition to her mother, Lillie is survived by her son, Michael Caldwell and girlfriend, Kathy Allen who Lillie thought of as the daughter she never had; brothers, Howard Carver of Franklin, Doyle Carver of Franklin, Dale Carver (Wilma) of Franklin, David Carver (Merie) of Highlands, and Terry Carver of Cornelia GA; sisters, Barbara Franks of Sylva, Nell Jenkins (Rick) of Franklin; Grandchildren, Rickie Caldwell, Lisa Caldwell, and Heather Allen; Great Grandchildren, Anthony, Zander, Bailey, and Joshua; Uncles, Sherman Carver of Mount Holly NC, Jerdy Passmore (Violet) of Lenoir NC; Aunts Bonnell Wilson of Sylva, Mildred Carver of Franklin, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services on, Friday, July 2, 2021 at 12pm with Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating. Visitation will be held from 11-12pm prior to the service. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
