Lee Robert Robinson

Lee R. Robinson Sr., 77, of Sylva, went home to be with his Lord, Thursday April 17, 2014. A native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Pearlie Ashe Robinson. Lee graduated from Webster High School, was a U.S. Army Veteran and also served in the Army National Guard. He was the first certified electrical inspector for Jackson County and had worked for Nantahala Power and Light. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Kyeleen Buchanan Robinson 1 Son- Lee R. Robinson Jr. and his wife Sandy of Sylva 1 Daughter- Michelle Leigh McCarter of Sylva 1 Grandson- Cody Lee McCarter of Sylva 2 Step Grandchildren- Jessica Morgan of Sylva and Jennifer Morgan Davidson of North Carolina Lee is also survived by several cousins A Memorial Service will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday April 22 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services Chapel with Revs. Eddie Stillwell and Scott Carter officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:00 pm prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lovedale Baptist Church, 160 Lovedale Rd.
