Larry Dale Anders

Larry "Jack" Anders, 69, of Sylva, passed away Thursday March 15, 2018. He was the son of the late Absul Anders and Dorothy and Ford Deitz. Larry retired from the NCDOT traffic services. He was a U.S.Army veteran serving in Viet Nam and was a member of Deitz Memorial Baptist Church. He enjoyed spending time at his camp on Peachtree in Caney Fork, cutting wood, digging ramps and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Anders of Franklin Granddaughter- Raven Mark Taylor, whom he raised as his own son 4 Brothers- Glenn Deitz(Doris), Michael Anders (Wanda), Johnny Deitz, Ronnie Deitz( Ellavee) 2 Sisters- LaRae Hooper (Randall), Ann Melton (Phillip) Numerous nieces and nephews also survive A brief Celebration of his life will be held 2:00 pm Saturday March 17 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home
