Kenny Buchanan

Kenny Buchanan 69 of Sylva passed away on Thursday September 20th. He was a member of Cullowhee Baptist Church and a charter member of the Jackson County Bass Club. Kenny was the son of the late Wayne and Katherine Buchanan.

He is survived by his wife Lila (Sissy); two brothers, Johnny (Clydie) and Mike (Mid) Buchanan; four nephews Jake (Heidi), and Luke (Beth) Buchanan, Russell (Terri) and Mark (Trina) Taylor;

three nieces; Kay (Larry) Bryson, Connie Watson and Pam Taylor; mother-in-law, Ruth Bryson; brother-in-law, Tommy Bryson and a special friend, Steven McClure.

A graveside service will be held on Friday September 21st at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mike Farmer and the Revs. Jeffery and Tonya Vickers officiating.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
