Kathy Webster

Kathy Jean Webster, a beloved daughter, mother, and sister, passed away on August 12, 2023, at her home. She was born on July 4, 1964, in Ukiah, California to Kathleen Bennett Webster and Alvin Webster.

Kathy led a remarkable life filled with love, joy, and adventure. She had a passion for nature and spent countless hours bird watching, tending to her garden, camping under the stars, and exploring the excitement of Pigeon Forge. Kathy's love for the great outdoors was infectious, and she treasured every moment she spent in nature.

Not only was Kathy deeply connected to the natural world, but she also had a profound impact on the lives of those around her. Her warm smile and kind heart touched everyone she met. Kathy had an uncanny ability to make people feel valued and loved. Her genuine compassion knew no bounds.

Kathy's dedication to her family was unwavering. She cherished her role as a mother and was an incredible source of strength and support for her daughter Jessica Queen. Kathy's love for her family extended to her parents Kathleen Bennett Webster and Alvin Webster as well as her brother Al Webster (Tracy). She brought immense joy and happiness into their lives every day. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Roger Queen.

A visitation to honor Kathy's life will be held on August 15, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Appalachian Funeral Services located at 165 Skyland Drive in Sylva, North Carolina. The funeral service will take place at the same location the following day, August 16, at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Tuckesegee Baptist Church Cemetery.
