June Davis Cabe

June Davis Cabe, 87, of Sylva, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday morning May 18, 2022 at Skyland Care Center. 
A native and a lifelong resident of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Gomer and Birdell Nations Davis.
June would love tending to her garden and her flowers and if she wasnt in her garden she would be working on her beadwork and artwork. What she enjoyed most in life was just being able to spend time with her family. She was also a member of Promised Land Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Clemard Cabe and by two of her sons; David Jamison and Phillip Jamison ( who passed away on April 19, 2022).
She is survived by a son; Owen Jamison (Robin) of Dahlonega, GA and by her daughter; Delores Jones (James) of Tuckasegee.
4 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren also survive. 
Funeral Services will be held 6:00 pm Friday evening May 20, 2022 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Larry Bryson officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the Service from 5:00 pm till 6:00.
