Judy Ann Warren, 69, of Tuckasegee, passed away Saturday evening October 1, 2022.
A native and a lifelong resident of Jackson County Judy was the daughter of the late Lewis and Marie Messer.
A Member of Trout Creek Baptist Church, she retired from housekeeping at Western Carolina University. She enjoyed volunteering at the Thrift Store in Glenville and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her twin brother Benny Messer, her sisters Geraldine Hicks and Louise Messer, brother Eddie Messer and two of her grandchildren; Brandon and Issac Sims, sister-in-law Kathy Doughton, father and mother-in-law Bud and Ruby Warren
She is survived by her husband of 32 years Jerry Warren
Daughters; Christy Sims (Danny Brown )and Lisa Marks both of Tuckasegee, Christy (Eric) Wilson, April Warren
Grandchildren; Harley Sims, Shannon Sims, William Marks, Eli and Chloe Wilson
4 Great Grandchildren; Brantley, Emorie, Coleman and Lily
2 Sisters; Freda Leopard of Tuckasegee and Linda Smith of Brevard
2 Brothers; Bill Messer and Wade Messer both of Tuckasegee
Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday October 7, 2022 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Revs. Mark Styles, Ethan Fortner and Johnny Norris officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 pm until 3:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Shook Cemetery
