Judy Taylor Cunningham, 62, of Cullowhee, NC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. She was born on May 9, 1962, in Franklin, North Carolina, to the late Charles Vernon Taylor and Martha Jane Taylor.

Judy graduated from Franklin High School in 1980. She was married to Anthony William Cunningham, with whom she shared 20 years of her life, until their divorce in 2005. Judy held many job titles and fulfilled many roles throughout her years on Earth. From running and operating her own Photography Studio, Macon Memories to running her own maid service, Maid in the Shade. She had helped all of those around her without a second thought, her kindness and love shined through until the end.

Judy’s greatest joy in life was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her son, William Cody Cunningham, and her stepdaughters, Megan Murcia (née Cunningham) and Tashauna Murcia (née Cunningham). Although Judy did not have grandchildren of her own, she cherished Megan and Tashauna’s children as if they were her own, showering them with boundless love and affection.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Vernon Taylor and Martha Jane Taylor, as well as her former husband, Anthony William Cunningham.
