Joseph Ronald "Ronnie" Seay

Joseph Ronald (Ronnie) Seay, age 59 of Cartersville, GA, entered into his heavenly home on July 14, 2022, at his residence. He was born on November 27, 1962 in Swain County to Shirley Campbell and the late J.D. Seay of Whitter. Ronnie was preceded in death by his stepfather, Duvall Campbell (Pop) and two sisters, Jackie Hardin and Teresa Guthrie of Newport News Virginia; one granddaughter, Alexandra; maternal grandparents, Evelyn and Jack Williamson and paternal grandparents, Lillian and Auther Seay.

He is survived by two daughters, Ashley (Martin) Diaz of Cartersville, GA, and Fallon Seay of Sylva; one son Rickie Seay also of Sylva. Ronnie had many grandchildren that were the love of his life and his dog fibee; nephews, Jack and Colton Guthrie of Newport News, VA. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, in the chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services. Rev. Eddie Stillwell will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sherrill Cemetery.
