Johnny "Big John" Frady

Johnny Ray "Big John" Frady, 57, of Cullowhee, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday May 26, 2022.
A native and a lifelong resident of Jackson County, he was the son of Harold and Eloise Hoyle Frady of Cullowhee.
Big John knew no strangers, he had the biggest heart and would help anyone, with anything at anytime. He enjoyed just living life, hunting, fishing or just spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Tuckasegee Wesleyan Church.
He was preceded in death by his uncle Goob Frady, nephews; Tommy Algard and Keith Meeks, his father-in-law Arnold Hoxit and his Granny Edith. 
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Beverly Hoxit Frady
Son; Gabe ( Jasmyne Jones ) Frady of Cullowhee
His siblings; Bo Frady ( Jeneen ) of Cullowhee, Leaquetta (James Bo ) Algard of Duluth, GA, Hoot (Pam ) Frady of Cullowhee, Amy Frady ( Harley Jason Sherrill ) of Maggie Valley
Brother-in-law; Michael (Arlecie ) Hoxit, Mother-in-law; Linda Hoxit
Numerous nieces and nephews, as well as all his cats and dogs he loved dearly, and many beloved friends also survive.
He was a great father, husband and friend who was loved by all and will be missed terribly.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday May 29, 2022 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Revs. Jeff Powell and Steve Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm till 2:00 prior to the Service at the Funeral Home. 
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Appalachian Funeral Services to help with the cost of services.
