Jimmy Walter Bennett

Jimmie Walter Bennett (born James Walter Able), 79 of Cullowhee, NC passed away on June 11, 2020. He was born on January 2, 1941, to Luler Able. He grew up in North & South Carolina with his parents Luler & John Bennett and was one of five children: siblings- Ruth (Janie), John (Johnny), William (Bill), and LeRoy Bennett. He served his country and was a loving son, father, and brother. Although he spent most of his time in North Carolina, he also called New Jersey and Ohio his home. His favorite past time was fishing in the mountainous areas of North Carolina and spending time with family. He was loved by his family and friends and left an indelible mark in the memories of those that knew him well. He will be greatly missed, and his family wishes to thank you all for your acts of kindness and words of comfort.
