Jerry Rice III

Jerry Rice III, 63, of Cullowhee, NC finished his final ride on July 22, 2022. He was the son of the late Jerry Rice Jr. and Joyce Pauline Crisp Rice.

He is survived by his former wife, Kimberly Rice, and their three sons: Jerry Rice IV (Laura) of Hendersonville, Robert Rice (Malissa) of Asheville, and Patrick Rice (Brittany) of Sylva. Additionally, he was a loving grandfather to Everett and Eliza.

Jerry will be dearly missed.  Family will receive friends on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva, NC.  A private interment will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to thank all the staff at Harris Regional Hospital for excellent care.
