Jean Eileen Bockstahler

Jean Eileen Bockstahler, age 75, of Sylva passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018. She was born October 10, 1942 in Binghamton, NY to the late Robert and Cora Bockstahler.  She received her bachelor’s degree from College of St. Rose and went on to get her master’s degree in education from State University of New York.

Jean is survived by her partner Glenda Armstrong; sister Sally Lou Alekna of Lebanon, PA; nephews Chris Coyle of Florida and Tim Coyle of Texas; Great nephews Peyton Coyle and Chance Coyle.

Her passion in life was animals of which she had many. She dedicated her life to the service profession and retired as director of REACH of Jackson County.
