Jim Pardieck went home to be with Jesus on September 18, 2020 after living a long blessed life of ninety-two.
Jim was born to Joseph and Agnes Pardieck on December 19, 1927 in Richmond, Indiana and had three brothers; Bob, Billy, and David Pardieck, and two sisters; Barb and Marilyn.
In 1951, Jim married the love of his life, Helen Pardieck and went on to have three children; Steve, Nick, and Kathy. Jim and Helen have celebrated sixty-nine years of marriage, leaving an example of true love, forgiveness, and godly covenant for their family to follow.
Out of the love of country, Jim joined the army during the Korean War and was in the US Army Engineers, stationed in Camp McCoy, Wisconsisn. Jim since has served as an active member of the Jackson County American Veterans Association.
In partnership with his family, Jim was co-owner and manager of Cambridge Automotive Supply and Richmond Automotive Supply (NAPA). As an enthusiastic race car fan, Jim attended fifty Indy 500 Races in Indianapolis, Indiana. After approximately 50 years of being a well-known and respected business man, Jim retired and moved to the mountain of Western North Carolina. Jim and Helen have now been Jackson County residents for twenty-two years.
Throughout Jim's life, he has had an unwavering faith in God and has cherished his wife and beautiful family. Jim joins his first born son, Steve in heaven, and is survived by his wife Helen Pardieck; son, Nick Pardieck; and daughter, Kathy Rowe; six grandchildren; Kristy, Craig, Kelly, Matthew, Zachary and Elizabeth. Jim has been blessed to see his children's, children's children, of twelve great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held for the immediate family on Monday, September 21st with his grandson, Rev. Zachary Rowe officiating.
