James Chester Myers III

James C. Myers III, of Webster NC, passed peacefully on October 6, 2021, with his wife of 56 years, Sharon Ann Myers beside him. 

Jim was an avid fisherman and loved to fish with his best friends on his boat. Jim was a licensed building contractor and built hundreds of houses and apartments in Jackson County for 49 years. He was zoning administrator in the town of Webster for many years.

He is survived by Sharon Ann Myers, wife of the home; daughters, Teneile Myers Pickett and husband, Scott and their three children Emory, Kenyon, and Sage, Asheville; Denene Myers Dowling and husband, Matt, of North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Jim is preceded in death by his mother, Verna Bernice Robinson Myers; his father, James Myers, Sr.; and his sister, Leah Pearl.

Services are planned for a later time in Sylva and Asheville
