James Eugene Carden

James Eugene Carden of Sylva, North Carolina passed away peacefully at his home on December 24, 2024.

James is survived by his wife Paula Green Carden of 44 years and his cherished dog Coco. Also surviving is his brother-in-law Tony Green and wife Kathy of Kingsport Tennessee and special niece Ty (TJ) and great nephew Zander Jackson also of Kingsport Tennessee. James is also survived by dearest friends Lisa and David Shearer.

James is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Geneva Stewman Carden, Grandparents Floyd C and Bertha Carden, Brother-in-law Ronald C Green.

A visitation will be held from 2pm-3pm on Saturday, December 28, 2024 with a memorial service to follow at Appalachian Funeral Services. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Catman2 or ARF.
