James Pat Angel

James Pat Angel, 87, of Cullowhee, passed on July 12. Pat was born June 12, 1937 to the Reverend Osborne and Ella Dalrymple Angel. Pat was one of eleven children.

Pat is survived by his wife of 64 years, Peggy Brogden Angel. He and Peggy have two sons, David, of Fort Mill, SC, and Roger (Diane), also of Fort Mill, SC.

Pat is also survived by one granddaughter, Laura (Matt) Kecken, of Fort Mill, SC, and two great grandsons, Patrick and Gavin. Also surviving is one step granddaughter, Carrie (Matthew) Gates, of Stanly, NC, and one step great granddaughter, Emily.

The family will be having a private celebration of life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the United Christian Ministries, or to the Lovedale Baptist Church Cemetery fund.
