Henry Thompson Fowler, 68, a native of Glenville, NC passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015.
Henry was a Christmas tree grower. He was a member of the North Carolina and Jackson County Christmas Tree Associations. He served as the co-chair of the research committee in the state association.
Henry is proceeded in death by his father, Franklin Fowler.
Henry is survived by his mother, Janie Fowler of Glenville; a brother, Charles Fowler of Sylva; two sisters: Susan Fouts of Sylva and Linda Hollifield of Atlanta, Ga; two daughters: Christy Johnson and husband Scott of Johnson City, TN and Liane Sprouse and husband Michael of Etowah; three grandchildren: Anna Grace and Daniel Johnson and Emery Sprouse; three nephews: Charlie and Taylor Fowler and William Hollifield; and one niece: Loren Fouts.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Hamburg Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Johnny Norris. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery.
