Heather Shepherd Lund, 37, of Sylva, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday January 5, 2022

A native and a lifelong resident of Jackson County, Heather loved pineapples and cactuses. She enjoyed going to the beach and traveling but the love of her life was her son Jaden.
She is survived by her husband Greg

A Memorial Service will be held 5:00 pm Sunday January 9, 2022 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Rev. Corey Boone officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:00 pm prior to the Service at the Funeral Home.
