Harley Dean McCall

Harley Dean McCall, age 53, of Sylva died Friday, January 31, 2014 at Mission Hospital in Asheville. A native of Jackson County, Harley was born April 25, 1960. He is the son of the late Elberson B. and the late Irma Lee (Burrell) McCall. He worked as a mechanic, doing small engine repairs. He enjoyed playing guitar and landscaping. He is survived by two daughter, Misty Gregory and Brittany McCall; three grandchildren, Adian, Gavin and Leyla Owen; two sisters, Barbara Matthews and Darlene Bennett, and two brothers, Early and RC McCall. The family will received friends at Appalachian Funeral Services in Sylva on Thursday, February,6, 2014 at 11:00 am. The funeral will follow at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Herman Mathis, Rev.Eddie Stillwell and Rev. David Owen officiating. Burial will follow in Broom Cemetery, Tuckasegee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Appalachian Funeral Services to help with final expenses. . . .
