Gregory Dewayne West

Gregory Dewayne West, age 66 of Sylva, passed away Wednesday January 18th, 2023.

Born in Haywood County, and a long-time resident of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Charles and Helen West. Gregory was retired from Western Carolina University; where he was employed as a housekeeper for Facilities Management. 

In addition to his parents, Gregory was preceded in death by his long time soul mate, Frankie Bradley. He is survived by Frankie’s children Dewayne (Crystal) Bradley, Vicky Bradley, both of Sylva, and Sandra (Dave) Bradley, of Greenville S.C.; as well as three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
